Summer Zazenkai: A Day of Silent Meditation hosted by Zen Columbus

  • Spring Hollow Lodge, Sharon Woods 1069 West Main Street Westerville, OH, 43081 United States (map)

Join our sister sangha Zen Columbus for a day of silent seated and walking meditation at the Battelle-Darby Metro Park! We will have a vegetarian potluck lunch and a dharma talk will be offered in the afternoon. Part-time attendance is welcome. The day is in silence.

This is a great opportunity to deepen into the silence and spaciousness of our innermost heart-mind, to connect with the natural world and to practice in community. Please bring a vegetarian dish to share for lunch. There is a full kitchen. We need to bring our own cup, bowl, plate and utensils. If you want tea or coffee, please bring your own. Schedule is posted below. Folks have the opportunity to practice walking meditation in the park, on their own during any of the sitting meditation periods. Please bring your own meditation supplies, if you need to borrow supplies email Kisei (amy.kisei@gmail.com).
